Expanding Excellence: ibg Group Welcomes AVIKO Ball Scanner for NDT Innovation
In 2019 we added another market-leading NDT brand to our ibg Group: The extensive history of the AVIKO ball scanner originated in 1961 at the former company Somet in nowadays Czech Republic. At that time, the first AVIKO ball scanner was developed, which was designed for surface inspection of steel balls only. The development continued over many years with improved laser optics and vibration controls. As of 2004 Sorting Solutions originated and carried the AVIKO brand until 2019 when the ibg Group purchased the company and created a new platform for advancement in the technology sector.
