The eddyguard neo® S is the next generation ETC/EC controller for testing the microstructure of metals with new ibg core technology for radically easy machine integration and improved testing performance.
Customers are developing more complex requirements for integrating the ECT/ET controllers into their systems and their data-management. Traceability, flexible testing, and higher performance are becoming more important. The eddyguard® neo S simplifies ECT/ET integration in machines and networks, supports up to 25 controllers from one user interface, and offers broad connectivity options, including industrial Ethernet. With IP64 housing, it is also suitable for harsh or wet environments

New Features of eddyguard neo® S
Industrial Ethernet connects the eddyguard® neo S directly to factory production systems, enabling real-time transmission of inspection data and ensuring that reject signals reach actuators such as sorting gates.
The eddyguard® neo S features a new interface, which makes the testing prodcedure more easily accessible. Dark and light mode available.
Allows operations to continue uninterrupted, ensuring production is not disrupted.
The eddyguard® neo S is safe from water splashes and dust, making additional housing unneccessary.*
*standard is applicable provided that the Sub-D connector is also water-resistant (IP-rated).
Backward compatibility with legacy coils and sensors (of eddyguard S) when using a compatible adapter (available separately).

It is available in three different versiones: SORT (Q3 2026), UNIVERSAL, and Ai-ADVANCED (Q3 2026).
SORT
Ideal for: high volume machine builders for basic ECT/ET sorting tasks, requiring a reliable, network-enabled controller with high ease of use for the operator.
UNIVERSAL
Ideal for: Machine builders for high performance ECT/ET testing, in need of a robust, network-enabled, universal controller for various part families.
Ai ADVANCED
Ideal for: End-Customers and machine builders, aiming for 100% evaluation of heat-treatment processes for defined part families on one position (like CV joints, axles and shafts) of the component (Ai contract with ibg necessary).
