AI Application Developer / Technical Consultant (m/f/d)

You combine expertise in mechanical or electrical engineering with hands-on experience in AI applications. Our goal is to extract hidden information from eddy current data and other sources. By doing so, we enhance testing reliability and transparency in the manufacturing results of critical metal components—for example, in the automotive, aerospace, or wind energy industries. Based on our solutions, customers can optimize product quality, processes, costs, and CO₂ balance.
 
Tasks 

• Contribute to the development of new AI applications and the further enhancement of existing solutions for non-destructive material testing 
• Prepare / process sensor data, train and finalize AI models
• Gain in-depth knowledge of our industrial applications and testing processes
• Design and implement concepts and models for new applications
• Provide technical consulting for our international partners, machine manufacturers, and system integrators
• Represent the company and its solutions at technical conferences and industry events
   

Requirements 

• Successfully completed degree in mechanical engineering or electrical engineering, with additional qualifications or practical experience in applied AI
• One to several years of practical experience in the development of AI applications is desirable
• Solid technical understanding of metals (metallurgy), mechanics, and sensor technology
• Strong proficiency in Python; additional programming languages are an advantage
• Experience in AI modeling, data preparation, data structures, and application programming
• Fluent written and spoken German and English
• Interest in international communication, collaboration, and willingness to travel
• Motivation to work independently on new challenges
• Hands-on mindset and the drive to make the seemingly impossible possible
